Aspect Ratio and Cropping

Every canvas size has a specific width-to-height ratio. When the uploaded image uses a different ratio, part of the top, bottom, or sides may need to be cropped.

For example, an image prepared for an 8" × 10" canvas may not fit a 24" × 36" canvas without adjustment because the proportions are different.

To reduce cropping:

• Choose a size that matches the original image ratio.

• Leave extra background around important subjects.

• Avoid placing faces close to the edges.

• Use the correct product template.

• Review the digital proof carefully.

Do not approve the proof until the visible front area and wrapped-edge placement are correct.

Bleed and Gallery-Wrap Area

Include a 0.125" bleed where required by the template. Because the canvas wraps around a 1.5" wooden frame, the artwork must also contain additional image area for the sides and rear attachment.

The standard 0.125" bleed does not replace the larger gallery-wrap area. Always use the template for the selected size and keep faces, text, dates, logos, signatures, and other essential content within the front safe area.

Maximum File Size

The maximum upload size is 75 MB.

If the file is larger than 75 MB, contact us for an FTP upload link. Alternatively, export the artwork as a high-quality JPG or PNG, taking care not to apply excessive compression.

Production Time

Standard production takes approximately 3–5 business days after the artwork and digital proof have been approved.

Digital Proof Approval

Before production, you will receive a digital proof by email. Carefully review:
