Custom Front-Cuff Embroidery

Your logo is embroidered on the front cuff for a durable, dimensional appearance. Embroidery provides a professional finish that integrates directly into the knit fabric and is well suited to company names, symbols, monograms, and simplified brand marks.

The authentic Carhartt® label remains visible on the left side of the cuff. The final relationship between your embroidery and the manufacturer label will be shown on the digital proof before production.

Complex artwork may require simplification to reproduce clearly on rib-knit material. Very small lettering, thin lines, gradients, shadows, photographic details, and tightly spaced elements may not translate effectively into embroidery.

Artwork Guidelines

For the cleanest embroidery, submit clear artwork with solid shapes and legible lettering.

Preferred Artwork

• SVG, when supported

Convert all text to outlines and provide the original vector artwork whenever possible.

Additional Accepted Formats

High-resolution PDF, PSD, PNG, or JPG files may also be submitted. Raster artwork may require cleanup, simplification, or conversion before it can be embroidered.

Embroidery Design Recommendations

• Use bold, clearly defined shapes.

• Avoid extremely small text and thin lines.

• Remove gradients, shadows, transparency, and photographic effects.

• Keep closely spaced details separated where possible.

• Provide brand-color references when accurate thread-color matching is important.

• Remember that exact color matching may be limited by available embroidery thread colors.

A traditional printing bleed is not required for embroidered artwork. Final embroidery dimensions, stitch details, and compatible thread colors will be confirmed during artwork review and proofing.

Artwork Review and Digital Proof

Submitted artwork will be reviewed before production. If the design contains details that may not embroider clearly on rib-knit fabric, we will contact you to discuss the necessary adjustments.

A digital proof will be emailed before production begins. Carefully review:

• Logo spelling and wording

• Artwork proportions

• Embroidery placement

• Hat color

• Thread colors

• Logo orientation

• Quantity

• Overall appearance

Production begins only after the artwork and digital proof have been approved.

Production Time

Standard production requires approximately 5–7 business days after proof approval. Artwork preparation, revisions, proofing time, shipping, weekends, and holidays are not included in the production estimate.

Large orders or artwork requiring extensive preparation may need additional time. Any expected scheduling changes will be communicated before production begins.

Set-Up Charge

A $35 set-up charge applies to this product. This charge supports the preparation of your design for the embroidery process. Artwork changes or substantially different designs may require additional preparation.
