Printed-Side Options

• Full Color Both Sides: Use both sides for complete event details, maps, schedules, sponsor information, menus, promotional offers, or a secondary design.

• Full Color Front, No Back: Keep the primary promotion on the front while leaving the reverse side blank.

• Full Color Front, Grayscale Back: Display vibrant artwork on the front and place supporting information in economical grayscale on the reverse.

The correct configuration depends on how much information your flyer needs to communicate. Front-only printing works well for concise promotions, while double-sided printing provides more room without increasing the flyer’s dimensions.

14 pt. Gloss Cover

Specialty Finishes

Raised UV

Raised UV applies a clear, glossy, dimensional layer to selected parts of the artwork. Use it to emphasize an event title, logo, date, pattern, border, or other important visual element against 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover.

Raised Foil

Raised Foil combines a reflective metallic appearance with noticeable texture. It can highlight headlines, logos, borders, admission details, or selected graphics for a more luxurious presentation.

Raised UV and Raised Foil elements cannot extend to the final trimmed edge. Separate mask artwork may be required to identify the areas receiving the specialty finish.

High Gloss UV Coating

High Gloss UV coating creates a bright, reflective surface while adding durability. It is suitable for vibrant artwork but prevents writing or additional printing on the coated area.

High Gloss UV Front Only

This option adds a glossy, durable finish to the front while leaving the reverse with a less glossy surface. Because the two sides receive different treatments, some variation in color and brightness may be visible.

Aqueous Coating

Aqueous coating is applied to qualifying orders of 250 or more printed on 100 lb. Gloss Book or 100 lb. Gloss Cover stocks. It adds light surface protection while preserving a polished presentation.

Finish availability depends on the selected size, paper, quantity, and printing specifications.

Choosing the Right Combination

Choose 14 pt. Gloss Cover or another gloss stock when vivid color and shine are priorities. Select 14 pt. Uncoated Cover when you need a natural texture or writable surface. Matte stock supports refined, low-glare artwork, while linen, pearl, kraft, and Trifecta papers create more distinctive tactile experiences.

For dimensional contrast, pair 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover with Raised UV or Raised Foil. When maximum shine and additional surface protection are more important, select an available High Gloss UV option.

Artwork and Print-Ready File Requirements

Prepare your artwork according to the following requirements:

• Include a 0.125" bleed on every side where artwork or background color extends to the trimmed edge.

• Submit an EPS, AI, PSD, JPG, PNG, or PDF file.

• Keep the standard uploaded file at or below 75 MB.

• Contact us for an FTP upload link if the artwork exceeds 75 MB.

• Alternatively, export large artwork as a high-resolution JPG or PNG to reduce its file size.

• Carefully verify all event names, dates, times, venue information, ticket details, contact information, and sponsor logos before submission.

• Keep Raised UV and Raised Foil elements away from the final trim edge.

• Supply any required specialty-finish mask files with the artwork.
