Artwork and Raised-Finish File Setup

Prepare the full-color artwork at 300 DPI in CMYK color mode and include a 0.125" bleed on all sides.

Raised Spot UV and Raised Foil require a separate black-and-white mask file. Use solid 100% black to identify every area where the specialty finish should appear and white for areas that should remain uncoated. The mask must align precisely with the corresponding elements in the full-color artwork.

Raised UV and foil elements cannot extend to the trimmed edge. Keep every raised-finish element at least 0.125" inside the cut line to support accurate placement and a clean finished result.
