Half-Fold Business Cards with Additional Design Space

Folded Business Cards provide more usable space than a traditional flat card without requiring a separate brochure or flyer. The half-fold construction creates outside and inside panels that can separate essential contact information from supporting content.

Use the front outside panel for a logo, name, and primary message. The remaining outside panel can contain contact information, while the inside can display services, appointment details, operating hours, offers, instructions, QR codes, or other useful content. Customers who do not need interior printing can choose a full-color outside with a blank inside.

The extensive paper selection makes it possible to match the card’s appearance and function to its intended use. 14 pt. Uncoated Cover provides a writable surface for appointment times, notes, or reminders. 18 pt. Premium Kraft offers a natural, rustic presentation, while Premium Linen, Pearl, Matte, and Smooth White stocks provide other distinctive surfaces.

For a thicker presentation, the Trifecta collection features ultra-thick, triple-layered stocks with velvet or Kanvas-textured finishes. Customers using 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover may also add Raised Print UV or Raised Print Foil for visual and tactile emphasis.

Printing Options

Full-Color Outside with Blank Inside

Print the exterior panels in full color while leaving the interior panels blank. This configuration is useful when the card needs a branded exterior and an open interior for handwritten notes, appointment information, or personalized messages.

For regular writing inside the card, select a paper stock with a suitable writable surface, such as 14 pt. Uncoated Cover.

Full Color on Outside and Inside

Print every available outside and inside panel in full color. This option provides the most space for branding, service information, promotional content, maps, QR codes, instructions, or appointment details.

Specialty Raised Finishes

Raised specialty finishes are available only with 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover.

• Raised Print UV: Applies clear, elevated gloss to selected logos, names, patterns, or graphic elements.
• Raised Print Foil: Adds reflective, elevated detail in Gold, Silver, or Rose Gold.

Raised Print UV and Raised Print Foil cannot extend to the edge of the finished printed piece. Although raised elements may be positioned near an edge, exact edge placement is not guaranteed. Keep raised details safely inside the trim and fold areas.

Rounded Corners

A 0.25-inch corner radius is available with compatible paper stocks. Rounded corners provide a softer profile than conventional square corners. Because this option is not available for every stock, confirm compatibility when configuring the order.

Choosing the Right Paper Stock

Choose the stock according to the intended appearance and use:

• Select 14 pt. Uncoated Cover when customers need to write on the card.
• Choose 14 pt. Gloss Cover for a high-shine presentation. Its High Gloss UV Coating is not suitable for writing.
• Use 18 pt. Premium Kraft for a natural or rustic design.
• Select 13 pt. Premium Linen or 18 pt. Ultra Premium Pearl for an elegant surface.
• Choose 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover when adding Raised Print UV or Raised Print Foil.
• Select a Trifecta stock when ultra-thick, triple-layered construction is a priority.

Artwork, File Review and Proof Approval

Prepare the design using the correct Link Printers template for the selected size and half-fold configuration. Arrange the artwork according to the outside and inside panels, and keep essential text, logos, contact information, and specialty-finish elements away from trim and fold areas.

When ordering double-sided printing, prepare artwork for both the outside and inside. When ordering Raised Print UV or Raised Print Foil, clearly identify the elements intended for the specialty finish and keep them away from the finished edges.

Link Printers will review the submitted artwork before production. If anything needs to be corrected or clarified, you will be contacted so the issue can be resolved before the project moves forward.

A digital proof will then be emailed for approval. Carefully review:
