Professional Custom Magazine Printing
Custom magazines provide an organized, visually engaging format for combining articles, photographs, illustrations, advertisements, interviews, product information, and branded content. They can serve as one-time promotional publications, recurring editorial issues, company reports, creative portfolios, event keepsakes, or customer-facing product guides.
The available sizes support different publishing goals. 5.5" × 8.5" offers a compact format that is convenient to carry, mail, and distribute. 6" × 9" provides a familiar book-style proportion for editorial content and creative publications. 8.5" × 11" gives photographs, product layouts, charts, and feature articles more room to make an impact.
Paper selection affects both visual presentation and reading comfort. Gloss stocks enhance color, image contrast, and photographic detail. Matte text paper reduces glare and provides a refined editorial appearance. Opaque smooth white stock offers a clean, uncoated surface with a traditional paper feel.
Cover construction also shapes the finished product. A self-cover uses the same paper as the interior pages, creating a consistent and economical publication. Separate 100 lb. cover stocks add structure and help the exterior stand apart from the inside content. Gloss cover strengthens visual impact, while matte cover provides a subdued, contemporary finish.

Interior Paper Options
100 lb. Gloss Book
A substantial glossy text stock designed to showcase colorful photography, detailed product imagery, illustrations, and high-impact advertising.
80 lb. Gloss Book
A versatile glossy paper that supports rich color and sharp detail while helping manage the magazine’s overall thickness.
80 lb. Matte Text
A smooth, low-glare stock that supports comfortable reading and provides a refined presentation for editorial content, reports, and mixed text-and-image layouts.
70 lb. Opaque Smooth White
A crisp uncoated paper that offers clear text reproduction and a traditional tactile quality. It is well suited to journals, reports, literary magazines, and text-focused publications.
Cover Options
Self-Cover
The selected interior paper continues through the front and back covers. This creates a consistent, lightweight, and economical publication.
100 lb. Gloss Cover
A heavier glossy cover that adds structure and enhances photographs, illustrations, and colorful branding.
100 lb. Matte Cover
A substantial cover with a smooth, low-glare finish that supports an elegant editorial, artistic, or corporate appearance.
Binding Options
Saddle Stitch
Printed sheets are folded, nested, and stapled through the center fold. Saddle stitch creates a clean presentation for eligible magazine configurations. Because folded sheets form the publication, saddle-stitched page counts must be divisible by four.
Perfect Binding
Individual pages are collated and secured with adhesive inside a wraparound cover, creating a flat, square spine. Perfect binding may be available for eligible higher-page-count configurations.
Binding compatibility depends on the selected size, page count, interior stock, and cover. Choose only the options displayed in the product configurator.
Optional Cover Enhancements
When offered with the selected paper and binding configuration, cover enhancements may include:
-
Spot UV: Adds glossy contrast to selected logos, titles, images, or patterns.
-
Metallic Foil: Adds reflective accents to prominent cover details.
-
Embossing: Creates raised artwork on the cover surface.
-
Debossing: Presses selected elements into the cover for recessed texture.
Confirm availability, pricing, and file requirements before preparing artwork for a specialty finish.
