Rectangular images may require cropping to fit the selected square size. During artwork preparation, keep faces, text, logos, borders, and other important details away from the edges so they remain visible after cropping and wrapping.

Image Resolution and Color

For the best printing results:

• Use a high-resolution image at the final selected size.

• A resolution of 150–300 DPI at full size is recommended.

• Avoid screenshots, social-media downloads, and heavily compressed images.

• Save photographic artwork in a high-quality format.

• Use CMYK color mode when possible for more predictable printed color.

• Review brightness, contrast, sharpness, and skin tones before submission.

Images displayed on illuminated screens may appear brighter than the final printed canvas. Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed across different screens, printers, and materials.

Gallery-Wrap Artwork Guidelines

Gallery wrapping requires part of the image to extend around the 1.5" sides of the wooden frame. Your file must include sufficient image area beyond the visible front panel.

For best results:

• Keep faces, text, logos, signatures, and focal points inside the front safe area.

• Do not place essential elements close to the outer edges.

• Allow additional image area for the wrapped sides.

• Avoid thin borders, as small alignment variations may become noticeable.

• Use a square 1:1 composition to minimize unexpected cropping.

• Check that the image remains visually balanced on the front and wrapped edges.

A standard 0.125" print bleed alone may not provide enough image area for the gallery-wrapped sides. Follow the template for your selected canvas size or provide additional background area around the design.

Artwork and File Preparation

Prepare your file according to the following requirements:

• Accepted formats: PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, high-resolution JPG, and PNG

• Maximum upload size: 75 MB

• Recommended resolution: 150–300 DPI at final size

• Preferred aspect ratio: 1:1 square

• Color mode: CMYK recommended

• Fonts: Convert fonts to outlines or embed them in the file

• Important content: Keep critical elements within the front safe area

If your file exceeds 75 MB, contact Link Printers for an FTP upload link. You may also export the artwork as a high-quality JPG or PNG to reduce the file size.

AI and PSD design templates are available. To request the correct template, provide your order number, selected size, and product type.

Digital Proof and File Review

Your uploaded artwork will be reviewed within 24 hours for common production concerns, including:

• Incorrect dimensions or aspect ratio

• Low image resolution

• Insufficient gallery-wrap image area

• Important content positioned near the edges

• Unexpected cropping

• Missing or substituted fonts

• Possible print-quality concerns

Before production, a digital proof will be emailed for approval. Carefully review the image, crop, positioning, wrapped edges, text, spelling, colors, and overall layout.

Production begins only after the proof has been approved.
