Coating and Writability

High Gloss UV coating creates a shiny surface that can enhance color contrast and provide added protection against ordinary handling wear. It is available only with eligible paper and product configurations.

UV-coated areas are not suitable for writing or overprinting. If customers, employees, or service providers need to write dates, notes, codes, or appointment information, choose an uncoated stock or an eligible front-only coating option.

Front-only UV coating may cause differences in color and brightness between the coated front and uncoated back. Standard paper door hangers are not waterproof unless a waterproof material is specifically offered and selected.

• Keep logos, phone numbers, QR codes, and other critical content away from the trim, hole, and perforation.

• Use the reverse side for supporting information when choosing double-sided printing.

• Leave appropriate blank space when handwritten information will be added.

Artwork and Print-Ready File Instructions

1. Upload Your File: Submit your completed print-ready artwork with the order.

2. File Review: Your file will be reviewed within 24 hours. Link Printers will contact you if an issue is identified.

3. Bleed: Include 0.125" bleed on every outer trim edge.

4. Safe Area: Keep essential text, logos, and QR codes away from cut lines, the drilled hole, and any detachable perforation.

5. Accepted Formats: EPS, AI, PSD, JPG, PNG, and PDF.

6. Maximum Upload: Standard file uploads may be up to 75 MB.

7. Large Files: Contact Link Printers for an FTP upload link when the file exceeds the standard limit.

8. Templates: Use the correct template for the selected size, hole position, and tear-off configuration.

Digital Proof and Approval

Before production begins, you will receive a digital proof by email. Carefully review:
